I cant tell any differnace in power, but dam. 2 of my plugs had so much oil and carbon on them they had to be fouled out. The car idles much better.
I was concerned using the postive seals on the exhaust side after i got the valves out because the seat is made differnt. I hope they last, I let it sit for about 30 mins and restarted to a nice smoke free rumble.
Another thing, I cannot belive how clean this engine was. It has 140K on it and you would never tell by these pictures, absolutly NO sludge AT ALL.

Old seals, check out that exhaust seal? its nothing more than puddy now haha.

New seals, they look much nicer!

AND THE PRETTY ROCKER ARMS!!!!!! 1.6 full roller. and comp cams 981 valve springs.

oh yea here is my homemade exhaust. this is just a temp untill I get headers.
Its just a super 40 flowmaster withexhaust aimed out under the doors.

I found the easiest way for air tubes, CUT THEM OFF WITH EXTREME FORCE WITH SAWZALL....
Sorry about the caps, but I have had too much time wasted with air tubes to be messing around with, pull them out and plug it off. Less hassle, less weight (next to nothing but HEY its gone..), and one less thing to clutter up your engine bay.

You call that clean?
Had you been using a "real" synthetic oil, you'd know what clean really is.
But, compared to 30 years ago, that is reasonably clean.
