that wire is yellow with the black connector..unless its just dirty as hell and im seeing yellow....

I want to make sure before I go cutting the wire and splicing some to it so I can route it to the drivers side..

are you sure?

To be sure ground the other gray connector with a black wire with the key on and the heavy-duty coolant fan should turn on.

If you don't mind my asking you should be able to mount the KS on either side, why the driver side?

ah...yeah but I dont have any power to the car....nothing is wired..NOTHING...fuel lines wide open ...n Im not going to put power the the car and let the fuel pump start pumpin....i wanna know which wire to cut/splice so I can get that one outta the way so I can route my starter wires.

the reason for the knock sensor on the drivers side is because there is no room on the passenger side with long tube headers...the knock is WAY to close to the headers and no room for the connector...the drivers side theres all kinds of room.

According to your year and engine the white wire is knock sensor. and the black wire is for the secondary fan. Autozone had free wiring diagrams on their website.

But anyways i just had the same delema with my wires they were both unplugged i found under the car and sure enought black wire for 2nd fan and white wire for knock.

You can also do that grounding test but i saw you dont have ne thing hooked up... Well good luck.
