main numbers
i was wondering if anyone knew what size mains the different blocks have. ie 283,327 small journal,large journal, 350, 400? I don't have a book that tells me and i was wondering if anyone knew. thanks

Until 1969, the small journals were used, 2.3" mains and 2.0" rods.
After 1969, the journal size was increased to 2.45" mains and 2.1" rods.
The 400 only had large journals, 2.65" mains and 2.1" rods.
