vacum line routing

ok ive had the engine in for a little while and finally working out all my little shortcuts and kinks. i have an edelbrock performer 750cfm carb on a 383. i already have my distributor hooked to one of the smaller fittings and something else to the other smaller fitting i cant remeber what and the pcv valve to the larger one in the middle. how do i fit the carbon canister into this mix or do i just leave it out. i have already taken off all the emissions equipment. right now i have the canister tied into the pcv valve line and one of the smaller fittings along with the canister control valve and the vacum piece off the old manifold. it looks funny and out of place with the bulky control valve and i want to clean up the engine bay a little bit. any help is appreciated thanx

It sounds like you're not so interested in emissions, so just delete them.

not really but i heard it doesnt rob me from any power but i will have to pass emissions next year so i figured id hook it up anyway. i also dont want my gas cap under a bunch of pressure everytime i take the cap off. and the fuel tank control valve is before the canister on the same line thats why i asked.

What kind of emissions test do you have to pass? If it's a visual inspection, the Edelbrock isn't going to make it anyway. If it's a dyno test, then the vapour canister isn't going to have any affect. It only collects evaporated vapours from the tank and fuel bowl.

it will be a hit or miss on the visual they dont always ask you to pop the hood so its more of a dyno test on the emisssions.
