Oil Cooler Removal

Has anyone removed the stock oil cooler from there 3rd Gen? The one on my 88' Formula 350 has lines that seem to be the source of endless oil leaks. Has anyone had problems after removing one? I want to replace the oil filter pad with one without the hose connections.

Re: Oil Cooler Removal

Those lines carry coolant, so they're not the source of your oil leaks. There's an O ring between the adapter and the block that might be, though.
