Valve/rocker gaskets if leak can effect start and idle at first?

Engine: V6 2.8 multi-port and V8 5.0 FI
Transmission: 5-Speed and Automatic
Axle/Gears: no idea
Valve/rocker gaskets if leak can effect start and idle at first?
i have leaky valve gaskets. now my engine runs kinda poor at first btu once at operating temperature its better. not great but i can deal with it.
Would these faulty gaskets have a major effect on the PCV system to the point it would effect how the car runs?
like sputtering and hesitation in 1 gear and reverse on my v8 automatic?
