killed two stock intank pumps
i switched over to carb and im still using the stock pump. when i first got the motor running my stock pump died. so then i bought another had it running for like 10 min and it died. the only thing i can think of is that i dont have the return line hooked up. the regulator i bought dont have the return port on it. so do you guys think that with no return line that the pump is getting to hot and it kills it self.
thanks mike

Oh yah.....that pump will dead head at 80-100 psi. If you've got a regulator on it, sucking it down to 6-8 psi its burning up. You need to have a bypass in your regulator or run a different style pump.
