code check

i'd like to check to see if i have any codes but for some reason i could not find the diagnostic link under the passenger side dash. i looked everywhere and nothing. if anyone could give me a hint on where it might be that would be great. i have a 1988 t/a, 305 v8. automatic(unfortunately).

Re: code check

its on the drivers side. under the steering wheel look twards the bottom right side just about where your right knee would be. you should see a little plastic square, it pulls out and behind it is the obd1 connector that you can use to test for ses codes
