Will the chevy 350 202 double hump heads fit on the 86 305 block? I'm not sure of the year on the heads, but my dad tells me they were awesome on his 1987 suburban 350.

Yup, they'll "fit on" the block.

"Work" is a different matter altogether. Specifically, whether the valves can open without hitting the deck, is anybody's guess. (I'm going out on a limb here and assuming that your description of "202" means 2.02 inch diameter intake valves, since there's no "202" casting number) Even if they clear the deck, they'll still be SO CLOSE to the cyl wall, that they'll end up flowing less than 1.94" valves do.

Even if they do work without crashing into the deck, they're not the best choice. Their chambers are 64cc compared to your 305's 58cc. They'll lower the compression dramatically.
