I am making a huge purchase tonight of parts to complete my build. I need help to pick out pushrods though. I am running a flat tappet setup along with Vortec heads. I know flat tappet pushrods are longer than roller, but what is the length I need?

I cant find any that just say "Standard". they just have a length measurement

hmm, too bad, I was going to say:

skip the cam lube, it comes in the box with your cam.

don't get hex head bolts for your intake manifold, remember how hard it was to get a socket on those? Use allen bolts instead.

and the comp double roller timing chain is exactly $1 more than the summit brand one. I liked the comp sticker so...

You already have the vortec intake manifold I take it?

 

Yea, I have the intake already. Guess I can use that cam lube on other things? Like the pushrods and stuff?
