Will Edelbrock TPI STB fit a carb setup

As I stated, I have a tpi strut tower brace and never took it out of the box. Instead of trying to send it back for a carb/tbi setup I was wondering if the tpi one i have would fit a carb setup with no or little modification. I read somewhere here that someone has done this. If not anyone want to trade a tpi for carb stb. I live in Pittsburgh

i tossed that out because the fitting on the pump broke off.. twice.. and i dont drive where i need to use it anyway.. i'm thinking about just taking the entire wiper assembly off as well..

that is a sweet setup. It looks like the tpi stb I have may work. Only one way to find out. Thanks for the pics.

Re: Will Edelbrock TPI STB fit a carb setup

As I look at the picture of the Edelbrock STB for TBI I can't figure out why it won't work for a carb'd car with AC on the passengers side. It looks like its far enough back that it won't interfere with the bracketry. Has anyone actually tried it.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Will Edelbrock TPI STB fit a carb setup

Couldn't say about that; but most of the carbed cars have the AC on the driver's side, like the one in the pic did before it was hacked off.

That STB won't fit those because the AC lines interfere with it.

I meant to say I have the AC on the Drivers side. How hard can it be to move the AC lines. I thought Spohn was making one of these to fit.
