Porting heads???

plan to grab an lt1 cam headers better cold air intake and MAYBE aftermarket intake of some kind. i was reading on about DIY head porting. what would this do for me on my basically stock 89 camaro tbi 305 lo3??? and after i did the DIY porting and added my headers intake cold air and cam, what would i expect?

Don't waste your time porting the TBI heads.
Port other 305 heads, like the carb or TPI ones, but not those.

which heads would you reccomend that will just bolt right on to my lo3 and work perfectly? are there any heads non aftermarket out there that i could put on stock that will perform better? sorry to bother you with simple bs

Look for the heads that came on Fbody TPI 305 motors.
The casting number ends in "081"
With full porting and larger 1.94" valves you can have a pretty decent performance head for low $$$'s
Recomend you drill and roll pin the rocker stud bosses.
