Misfiring

My car is misfiring and, I can not figure out why. All the plugs are in right and, good. The wires are on all the way and, to the right plugs. Is there anything else I should check? I have been told it could be something with the cam but, I am not sure. The motor has less than 1,000 miles on it so, age is not a problem.

Re: Misfiring

Check your distributor cap and rotor? Faulty injector(s)?

Re: Misfiring

The cap and rotor are all brand new and, I know they are installed correctly.

The car is carbed so, I know that it is not an injector problem.

I am leaning toward that it may be detonation but, it is only happening on one cylinder. Does anyone know if this could be it? And if so, how the crap would I fix it cause this motor is brand new and I don't want to ruin it.
