How to repair vaccum line?

Hi everyone, I was doing some work on my 86 firebird v6, and i guess a vacuum line got disconnected. I see it, but the 2 connectors wont connect to each other. Do I have to glue them together or something? Or I have to replace that fitting? Thanks.... Heres a picture, the 2 are circled in red....

You can also use rubber hose and seal arround the ends with silicon. Cheap fix but it works.
