Mass Airflow Sensor

I have 1988 GTA and as of recent ever so often the check engine light comes on and the engine lack a significant amount of power. Ill hit the gas hard and it barely if at all increase speed. I hooked it up to a diagnostic computer and found it was the mass air flow sensor. I have a bosch in there now Im not sure if its the stock one or not but Im going to have to replace it and dont know what to go with. Ive seen one from granatelli and one posted here called a wells su145. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.

Re: Mass Airflow Sensor

I'd start with replacing the mass air power and burnoff relays first. Also check the setting of the throttle position sensor. Do both of those before you even think of replacing the mass air sensor, thats likely not the problem.
