Gas in oil new motor am I screwed ????

I have recently found out that I have gas in my oil from a carb malfunction. I broke in my motor last summer with a buddy's holley let the motor fire up a couple of times in October and its been sitting in storeage since last month. I put my new demon on it last month started it up just to get it turned over and the car has been sitting till last week. The car hasnt been driven its been cranked over 5 times just to get oil pressure and the motor has actually run about a minute to try and get the carb adjusted. What's the chance I screwed up my new motor and else can I do besides changing the oil to make sure all the gas is out of the motor. And the carb is currently of the motor also.

Change the oil and filter. That's about it. Anything left over will be so minute that it won't damage anything.
I've been following your other post so I see you haven't really run it. Most likely you haven't damaged anything.

Thanks for your feedback. I am crapping my pants right now I got $4000 in that motor and now this happens. This is the last thing I need.

I've got a little more than that in my new engine. I'll be firing it up for the first time tomorrow. I'll definitely be wearing diapers when I turn the key. Hopefully all goes well for us both.

remove the fuel bowls and preset the float height after you clean the junk from the needle and seats. Get a fuel filter.

Flip the fuel bowl(s) over upside down. Adjust the float so it is level. Then crank the float adjusting nut down lower (lower the float) by 1.5 turns.
