I was looking at some of the cheaper aluminum head options vs. AFR's and i was wondering how these would stack up against each other

I am on somewhat of a budget like most people here, however, I am willing to pay a few hundred more for AFR's if they are really worth it. I know that patriot performance has built up a name withing the ls1 realm and I have heard they do quality work. They are also much much cheaper than the AFR's...in fact it would pay for nearly a quarter of my new rotating assembly. So just lemme know whatyou guys think

 

IMO

the patriot numbers are a little weak.. the jegs would be better for say, a mild 383.. something that wont wind up the rpm's too high.. the AFR is for that street, strip, high-hp, high-rev motor..

 

well then i think i may have to go with AFR...any other choices out there for the price?
