What kind of Horsepower

Can one expect from a stock TPI setup?? I'm planning my engine for the IROC and would like to be able to keep the "stock" appearance of the engine compartment (except for a few things)....I'm planning on getting no less then 500 hoss power...If the stock TPI wouldn't work then what would you recommend??
