Car: 1986 caged out firebird
Engine: 454 = wheelies
Transmission: th400 stall and trans brake
Axle/Gears: 4:11 ford 9" with ladder bars
valve clearance
ok i just put a new cam in and new springs the cam is a 510 intake and 533 ex and my spring clearence is .040 and my seal to retainer clearence is .040 will this work or will i have to do some head work and take the heads back off or will this be good.

Spring clearance - you mean until the spring goes solid?
That's just on the edge of ok. That's on exhaust I assume, the least amount of clearance is .040"? Usually .050-.060 is the norm safe limit, but I think you'll be ok, .040" is pretty close.

yes that is the exhaust the intake is .060 that should be good for that it is the exhaust i was worring about
