when I try to start my car the starter wont even click. I bought a new starter and still nothing. what could be wrong. I have a 92 rs with a 350 tbi with vats

 

I would start by, tracing the starter wire from the soleniod, checking its condition, firmly press the key into the ignition when trying to start it, check the neutral safety switch on the trans, those are the quick semi easy things to check, also check the fuses, if nothing else this is a good starting point
