Car will not start

Key in the ignition, turn forward, feul pump comes on and the lights on the dash board come on as usual, then nothing, no click or anything at all. Right before this it would do the same thing but after a couple turns it would start up now nothing at all. any ideas.

Re: Car will not start

sounds like an electrical connection. I would check all wireing associated. You ever try tapping the starter with a hammer when it does this >?

Re: Car will not start

I jumped it off and it started but after i ran it for a bit and then put it away, i tried to start and it gave me a turn over on the first try and then second nothing. on the third it started right up. my connections all felt good but i am starting to think that maybe my alternator is not holding a charge very well. hopefully it wont be hard to figure out

Re: Car will not start

alts dont hold a charge batteries do have you actually checked the park/neutral saftey switch or just made sure it was plugged in? mine does that once and a while granted mine is a T5 not an auto so my saftey switch sees alot of action with the clutch but they do wear out
