New fuel pump...no start

New fuel pump...no start
Just put in a new fuel pump. Pump primes and I have good pressure at the schrader valve but not getting a start, not even a stumble.
Whats the trick to starting up after the fuel lines have been drained following a fuel pump change? Starting fluid?
Car was running fine til the pump died.

DONE!!!
Shot of starter fluid and it fired right up...just needed to get the thing to stumble one good time.
Ran rough for a few minutes then smoothed out. Smoked a bit from the greasy handprints on the exhaust....
Had it for sale in the classifieds...aint for sale now, gonna keep it.
