Code 33?

Well I have a 92 TA TPI. Month back I built a 355 for this car and installed it with the XFI268 Cam. Had a bunch of problems and ended up getting a Ostrich to try to tune the computer. I finally had it driveable but some bugs to work out still. I noticed some oil leaking from around the heads and figured they needed to be re-torqued. So I torqued the heads down put everything back together and now it won't run for crap. The idle flucuates a little and the ses light comes on and turns off. So I finally got a steady code. Code 33. In the book this is the map sensor. So I hooked up the laptop and noticed the volts for the sensor were lower then normal. Last time it was running good they were above 2.?? now there 1.5v. I checked all the wiring everything looks good. Does this sound like a bad map sensor? Is there a way of testing it? Thanks for the help.

It's a '92, which is SD, not MAF.

So, MAP sensor.

Re: Code 33?

Anyway, I'm wondering if I have the valves adjusted too tight. It did some backfiring and everything seems to be building up alot of heat, more than usual. So I'll try readjusting those today and see what happens. Any other ideas?

Re: Code 33?

Well adjusted the valves again seems to have helped, but now it looks like I fryed another ignition control module. The car cuts out and the tach bounces around. So I just ordered a Hi Perf dist since this one is the original. Since the pick up coil is probably bad too. Hopefully that will solve my problems.
