okay you know you are getting too much gas... what kind of fuel preassure do you have? how about after you turn off the key? how long does it take to bleed down?

Re: help this camaro!!!plz
well that depends... you have a 305 TPI right... and you are running the Ecm for a 305 TPI...then no my first guess would be dirty, clogged, leaky injectors
or fuel preassure... either one can be checked by checking fuel preassure with the key turned on but engine off... you should get around 40-44 psi... and it should take a good while to bleed down after you turn the key off without starting the engine.
if you get ~44 psi but then it starts to bleed off really fast you have a leaky injector... if you get more then 48psi you have to much Fuel preassure and i would look at your regulator

i have a 350 tpi same though, but like i said i put in a ecm that came out of 2.8 v6 and the car idle fine dont flood a bit.but when i hit the gas it seems like it starving for fuel.
well the owner replace the pressure reg,and install some mustang injectors.

Re: help this camaro!!!plz
yes leaky injectors would be part of it... it should take a few minutes to drop off... also the ford injectors are rated differently than GM or so i hear chip modification would be necesary to totally cure the rich condition i think

well after all it was the ecm,a person i barely know gave me a ecm and a maf sensor.so i came home and plug the ecm in,run like a top but it running alil rich but that probably them ford injector doing that.
now i have to take the oil pan off and put a set a rod bearings in it,and also going ahead replacing the oil pump.man that pan is going to be a pain lol
