Car won't start!
Hey everyone, I have a little problem here. I bought my '92 Z28 last summer and ever since I got it I noticed that when I'd try to start for the first time each day it would click but not turn over. Sometimes I'd have to try 3 or 4 times before it would finally start. After that it would usually be fine for the rest of the day, unless I let it sit for a while before having to start it again. It's not a daily driver, so it doesn't get a lot of action unless it's nice weather.
Today I had to do something in the garage so I backed it out into the drive way. It started up just fine on the first try, but when I went to start it to put it back into the garage it wouldn't start at all. It didn't even click like I mentioned before. It was almost like the battery was dead. I knew that wasn't the case though because I could hear the fuel pump kick on, dash lights came on etc... I knew I should have gotten it checked before, but unfortunately I put it off.
So what do you think could be the cause? Starter, solenoid, something else??

Re: Car won't start!
Possibly fuse link connections, starter solenoid connections, ignition switch, any of the wiring between, clutch/neutral safety switch, VATS, start enable relay, and several other remote possibilities.
You can begin by checking to see if there is power at the starter "S" terminal when the ignition switch is turned to START. If there is power, suspect the solenoid. If there is no power, start looking upstream.
