went to the track last night. and made few runs tune the car. start with timing. here what i got! base timing 10 total 34 run a 14.266 @ 96 90% throttle base 25 run a 14.085 @ 98.03 90% throttle base 33 run a 13.764 at 99.56 90% throttle one more run like that one 13.760 at 99.84 found out the gas was not opening all the way fixed that run two more time and run 13.46x at 102.xx and 13.482 @ 102.97 so what is going on with my timing its way high for base timing?

 

The ring may have slipped on your balancer.

 

how can i check it with out taking it off?but i know when i put the motor togather i had a hard time getting it to start put on it tdc i had to move a tooth back or something like that.

 

i took it off and check it its fine it close to 12 oclock anyone have anymore idea please help
