Always something..code 44 and oil pressure?

I told ya something else would happen?.....I drove the car again tonight and my SES ligh came on.....I was like wha!!!.....it stayed on for like 5mins....then it went off..I pulled over and checked the codes.... and 44 was on there. ..that means lean condition and since Ive been driving ive noticed that my A/F gauge will read in the green and then will drop all the way to LEAN and no lights would be on it....which would mean well below lean enough not to even register on my gauge. WHY?

and my oil pressure gauge on the dash has pegged out and is reading way past 80 like its all the way straight up...why did it do that? it will move slightly but will never go below 80.......today when I first drove thte car for like 100 miles it was fine reading like 30 or so once it got warmed up and while idling and would got up to about 60 or so when on the gas...but then I looked over at it and it was pegged and has never gone back down.

WTF now? I know the 10% increase pump I got would not cause that because it was fine for like 2hrs of driving....and then WAM!!! pegged!

will that create and problem? will both problems be bad to drive?

What horse do you plan on running? Lean is more dangerous than rich. Be very careful in how you hit the pedal.
30lb's seem a bit low. I'm running 36lb's. Do you have an AFPR? Have you burned any chips?

Somebody near you with a datalogger would come in very useful. Try bumping your fuel pressure up to ~48 for now. A bit rich is much safer than running lean. Especially on a new engine.

Your oil gauge problem sounds like it could just be some wiring. I wouldn't worry much about it.

Re: Always something..code 44 and oil pressure?

why should I go bigger on the injectors? I thought 30's are fine and make good power? what will bigger injectors do?

and as far as the oil pressure..I found my problem, it was the sending unit behind the intake. The metal tab came out of the unit....I pushed it back in and checked the gauge and it went back down to ZERO...so Im just going to super glue it back where it came out of...Im pushed for time right now...when I tried to unscrew the unit..its just spins..so i will have to take the plenum and stuff off......I'll see how long super glue lasts...

http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm

Here's an injector calculator. According to it, you need to bump your fuel pressure up to 48 to supply enough fuel to a 400hp engine.

Check that all sensors are recieving 5v...if one or more are outside of the 5v reference that will cause computer issues even without a code being produced and threrefore cause irratic A/F problems.
