twisted connecting rod

I just pulled apart my old LG-4 and found one of its connecting rods was twisted in the center. However doesn't appear anything ever hit the piston or anything. This is a stock motor doesn't appear to ever have been apart. I'm not looking to fix the motor by any means since it is worthless. Just curious why a connecting rod did this or was it caused in the assembly process.

Re: twisted connecting rod

pic?
i've seen some pics of "s" shaped rods from hydraulicing the engine, but a twist? i guess as long as its still straight, it would not hurt anything, maybe an oops from the assembly line qq team?
