Re: easy and spark plugs???
I'd like to know if there is any tips/tricks. I have headers and to get mine out, I had to unbolt the starter, and use one of those shortened spark plug sockets from snap on with a wrench at the end.

First time you change 'em, put in a set of those expensive fine-wire platinum plugs.
Good for about 100K miles. Use never sieze on the threads, though. If you think it's a pain now, wait until you have to pull plugs that HAVE been in for 100K !!

Re: easy and spark plugs???
Good lord, you guys must have some crappy headers or something...?
I'm using hedmanns shorties, and on this SBC engine this is easier than any other vehicle i've ever done.
I use a 5/8" wrench for some, or use the 5/8" spark plug socket (which has 3/4" flats on the back in case you can't get the ratchet on there). Between those two i'm set.
