underhood insulation

Is it safe to use double stick tape to hold up a part of the underhood insulation?

Re: underhood insulation

i'd just take the insulation off. a lot of people on here (including myself) have just removed the hood insulation b/c it just tends to get in the way. plus, the old rotted out stuff looks bad. i've had it off for a while- no problems whatsoever. if anything, replace the old stuff with new insulation, but why waste the $$$

Re: underhood insulation

I don't think it would hold very long.
