Why does my car bog so much?

I just bought an '89 GTA and the car bogs when I floor it; it jerks forward into 2nd gear at a certain rev point. anyone know the cause of this? how can I fix it? Thanks in advance

from a stop or a roll?? does it downshift if you floor it from second?

it bogs when i floor it from a comlete stop and when im cruising at 15mph and then floor it! thw owner recommended that I do a fuel injector flush!
