my 91 z28 will hold an idle at 1500for like 5 min then drop to 500 and idle really rough also when I try to give it any throttle it acts like it does not get any fuel I had a gauge on it and read 40-43 psi then dropped to 20-25 psi when it died could this be the fpr?? also it has a new tps on it

im having the same problem with my 91 camaro.... but mine will idle at about 750 rpm and will die if u give it any gass but .. heres the thing , when i unplugg the alternator it will idle at about 1500 rpm and i can rev it up to almost 4000 rpms but when i put it in gear it has no power ... if u find anything out will you please let me know?

 

I have a 91 shop manuale and from what I can get out of that it might be the fpr I cant get one till the weekend but if it helps mine I will let you know

 

Maybe the fuel pump if the FPR checks out.

 

newpump was put in back in feb
