Stumbling off the line
If i stop and put my car in 1st gear and floor it, it stumbles and quits. It just starting doing this when i changed the heads from ported and polished 2.02/1.60 valve stock heads to Edelbrock E-tec 200's. The weird part, is that if i pedal it out of the hole and then get into it runs GREAT!
its an 89 camaro with a TH350 and a 2400 rpm stall converter. I have 3.42 gears.
The motor is stock bore and stroke with .125 domed pistons. E-tec 200 heads, Comp cams 268/280 extreme fuel injection cam with .520/.515 lift
1.6 roller rockers edelbrock headers and cat back. I have a performer RPM air gap intake and an edelbrock 750

Re: Stumbling off the line
Have you checked the timing? Also where do you have the vaccum advance hooked up?

Re: Stumbling off the line
Yup, i originally ran the timing at 8 degrees initial and it did it, so i though maybe it needed some more, so right now it is at 12 initial and it still does it. I also checked for vacuum leaks with starting fluid and i tried doing it with the vacuum advance hooked up and un hooked.
any help would be GREEAT
