90 305 TBI swap, worth it?
I just bought a 90 RS with the 305 TBI. The motor is locked up. Im wanting to fix the car and sell it. My main question is, would it be worth it to swap to a 350? How much does the conversion usually cost? I know you have to swap injectors, knock sensors, etc.
I know a 350 car would sell better, but would it cover the cost of a conversion? Thanks

Re: 90 305 TBI swap, worth it?
I've got $600 in the car. Good tires, good trans, power seats, windows, and good a/c. Body has some rough places in it, mainly needs a driver's front fender, front bumper cover, and some body work in the b pillars. but Im thinking I can fix the body for around $300 minus paint. I figure If I can get everything cosmetically fixed (again minus paint) for around $1000 ( I have alot of extra parts I can use). Then maybe with a stock engine rebuild, maybe sell it for $2500? but right now, its looking like it will be around $700 to rebuild the 305.
