So I've got 7 used pistons...
I've got 7 used pistons I thought would save me some money in building this motor. They've only got a few thousand miles on them, would it be a good or bad idea to throw them in a new motor with a new piston? The 8th piston broke when they were taking it off the rod.
They came with a core I bought, so the only thing stopping me from getting a whole new set is simply the cost of buying a whole new set. I dont have a huge amount of money invested in them.
I figure it would be no big deal, but I want to make sure before I get the rotating assembly balanced up.

Depends on what pistons, what shape they're in, and what you'd have to do to match an 8th to the other 7's weight.
