pulseing lights problem.

Car: 1987 pontiac trans am gta
Engine: 350
Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.43 posi
pulseing lights problem.
just noticed this today but when my car is running my under dash lights ''pulse'' brighter, darker ,brighter,darker, and when i give it some gas it gets faster. o and my fuel pump does the same thing at the same time (i can hear it whine) anyone know what it could be?

WOW!!!! i think i found out whats doing it, my water pump pulley is bent! dont know why i did not see it before ill see if i can get a video, never done one before

I second the alternator idea. A bad voltage regulator will do that.
I really don't see a bent pulley making much of a difference in alternator output.

ya thats most likely it , on the gauge it shows about 15 or 16 so its over charging. it used to run at about 13 or 14
