Hi, just wondering what this belt size is, or a part number possibly. Need to get it tomorrow.

84 Camaro (berlinetta) with a 350, not sure what out of.

It's the belt for the altenator that goes around the waterpump and crank pulley.

Just tell the people at the parts store you need an alternator belt for an 84 Camaro with a V8 and you'll probably be ok.

BTW you probably want a shroud on that fan... and preferrably a non-fixed fan, too.

 

I agree, that fan is pretty bad. That's some old stock fan off of some 60s car without air. Expect SERIOUS overheating problems if you attempt to run that.

Go to the junkyard and get the fan and shroud off of a V8 Camro or Firebird from 82 or later.

The belt you need will be a 7450, or 15450; 7/16" (7) or 15/35" (15), and 45.0" long (450).

It will overheat with this fan on? How so, just because its small, or fin design is crap?

I'm new to domestic cars (I come from the 4 banger honda world).

Because it has 4 crappy blades and no shroud. Being fixed mounted too, all it's going to do is eat horsepower to stir the air in front the engine while it draws practically no air at all through the rad.
