Car won't start!

My 84 camaro has been fine since I bought it a few months ago, it sits but I'd start it every week and it was just fine. Until yesterday when I tried to start it and......nothing. It's not that battery, because the radio and lights and everything work, and also I can hear the fuel pump so I assume its not that. Is it my starter? where would I get one and how much are they? I'm not too good with engines so any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Re: Car won't start!

When my starter went bad, I would try to start it and I would hear a click noise. But I think I have a totally different situation cause I could wait 30 minutes it would start, but if i shut it off and 5 minutes later tried to start it again...it wouldnt start.

I had this exact problem...turn the key and nothing, not even a click. I'd turn it off and on a dozen times or so and it would usually go ahead and start. Replaced the starter and that fixed it.
