"New Car" Kind of start up??
OK, I am being picky now but I just fixed a hard start problem (FP Relay) and the car is back to normal.
However normal, as with most old cars, means when I crank it to start it still turns once or twice before firing.
Just curious if there is a simple fix to make it fire instantly more like a new car does??
(In the past month I have already replaced, plugs, wires, cap, rotor arm, fuel filter, fuel pump relay, seafoamed all three systems and oil change...)

Maybe try a gear-reduction starter. I think they're supposed to turn the engine a lot faster than your stock starter does.

gear reduction starters have more torque not speed. i have to say the cars that fired up the fastest for me were very well maintained and tuned carbed small blocks in stock form.
