Hot.

Although, since it's a hydraulic, the difference is insignificant.

Remove valve covers. Start engine. Back each one off, one at a time, until it ticks. Re-tighten slowly until it JUST BARELY quits ticking. Do all 16 as quick as you can. Turn off engine. Tighten each one ½ turn more. Put valve covers back on.
