timing????

Car: 1987 Camaro, 1986 Trans AM
Engine: V6 2.8 multi-port and V8 5.0 FI
Transmission: 5-Speed and Automatic
Axle/Gears: no idea
timing????

can anyone tell me what my timing should be for my 1986 trans am

it has a 305 tpi fuel injected 5.0 engine

i think its -6degrees but i need to know for sure.

is the timing going to change when the car is in neutral...NO
well not if you are correctly trying to set the timing... dont bother with putting the car in drive... it is a waste of time.... and for those people with sketchy Ebrakes... lots of excitment

why yes they are... how about i just write on that little sticker....smack your self in the head every time you set timing... would you do it?... now if you notice on the stick under the hood your YOUR car what does it say about cars manual transmissions? why would the automatics be different?
