Cold Starts!!
For some reason the search is not working, so I will just ask. When I first start my car after sitting for awhile it doesn't start right away, its takes a few seconds to start. Later on after I've driven somewhere and shut the car off and then go to restart it, it will fire right up almost instantly. The weird thing is that the longer it sits the longer it takes to start up. When left over night it takes about 4 seconds to start and then when i leave work to go to lunch which is 4 hours later it takes about 2 seconds to start and then when I go back to work about an hour later it pretty much starts right up. Hope that made sense.
Any ideas?

Re: Cold Starts!!
My car was doing the exact same thing, I just found that the engine wasn't getting enough gas right away. So when I hopped in it, I turned the key over enough to hear the pump engage, and with the key still on gave it about 6 pumps on the gas. She starts after only a second or so now.
If I don't pump the gas, it'll turn over like you say for like 3-4 seconds before she starts.

Slow starts useually means low fuel pressure. The pump is probably getting old and you need to run a fuel pressure check, DO this before you put any money into what you think it might be. You'll be better off in the long run financialy.
Pumping the peddal on a fuel injected engine does nothing but exercise your right leg!
