fuel pump fuses?? (search not working)
well, i can not get my fuel pump to kick on with key. Here is mt story.
i just put a new crate engine in my car, deleted emmisions and A/C all of the old connectors are tped over, so no moisture can get in. i hooked all the other connectors up where they need to be. now i go inside my car and try to crank the engine... i notice that my key no longer goes all the way to the Start position, but i do belive it goes to run... i hear the fuel pump kick.. once. figuring im going to have to put in a new ignition switch i let the car sit for about a week to let my head cool off..... i go back to the car... figuring ill test everything to see if car is in "run" had power to coil and injectors... but i notice fuel pump did not kick... and i had no pressure in rails. first thing i did was replace the relay... still nothing. then i put a jumper wire into the "g" termanal on the ALDL port. it kicks right on and pumps rails up to 55psi so the pump is fine. is my problem just the ignition switch or a fuse somewhere?
o yeah, car is a 1988 firebird 350 TPI
