car doesn't run right when warmed up????
Hello again,
I recently replaced all the plugs and wires because my car simply doesn't run right when its warmed up
.....When I go to take off the car acts like it wants to die stuttering and such...play with the throttle a little bit and I can get it to take off....it runs alright at higher rpm's say 2500+.....someone suggested that it was probably a vacuum leak.....I was wondering if this was a common problem and if there was a vacuum line that usually goes bad or something.....
Thanks,
Steve

Having a clue as to what year, engine, and induction you have would be helpful.

In fact I did. It said "64k original miles from California....no rust!", that's all. I see you've added the information to your profile now - very good.
Vacuum leak isn't a bad guess. As for which hose could go bad - all of them. Also loose fittings, loose TB or intake/runner/plenum bolts. Or, bad power brake booster.
Fuel pump would be another possibility, except running better above 2500 RPMs doesn't fit that. Actually, few things that come to mind do fit that particular piece.

well I got absolutely nowhere today
I bought a new dist cap and brought my dad over to check it out...after about an hour of troubleshooting and checking things out we were both clueless........gonna hook it up to the machine tomorrow and see what it says....its runs too bad not to have something obvious wrong.......at an idle if you floor it it just falls flat on its face.......but get it to run and it'll scoot up the road at higher rpm's

Double check your fuel pressure with a gauge, had the same problem with car running better at higher RPMs, I know that doesn't make since but check it again.
