okay so i just swapped this BBK LT1 throttle body onto my l98 car and the cable is too short by about 1/4 inch.

i have the throttle cable bracket for an lt1 and as you can see in the first picture the bracket in my hand is the LT1 bracket. I noticed that on the lower portion of the l98 bracket theres an opening the exact same size as on the lt1 bracket. wondering if i can just put an lt1 throttle cable on the car through that opening?



my only other concern is that the lower hole would put the cable at a serious angle, im not sure if this would be an issue. anyone know why my bracket has that larger lower hole on the bottom?
