AIR injection on manifolds.

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt
AIR injection on manifolds.
My manifolds have AIR injection on my manifolds i my 84 305 H.O. and I was wondering what that does and if it is needed. It would make the car a whole lot easier to work on with out it.

It's not useless, it lowers exhaust emissions.
If you want to remove it, take it off, check the size, and get the appropriate plugs from the hardware store.
Of course, this is illegal in all 50 states of the Union.
