Car: '89 GTA/'86 TA/98 TA
Engine: 350/350/LS1
Transmission: R4/T5/4L60E
Axle/Gears: 3.23/2.77/3.73
Problem starting engine(please help)
I have a 1989 Trans am Gta Aniversary edition with only 24,909 miles on it.
Alright down to business. Every once in a while I decide to starter up but every time it cranks for atleast 5 seconds (and thats
)before it bothers to start 
What should I do this car don't want to do anything too drastic
It is my pride and joy I love it

My firebird did this for a while. I replaced the plugs, wires, and fuel filter, and ran some injector cleaner through it, and it solved the problem. Don't know if its the same issue you have, but probably worth a try if the parts I listed are old.

Do all the things mentioned above, if it doesn't help, replace the CTS on the front of the head, this cured my problem
