Just installed rocker arms, have some questions
I just got done installing new Comp magnum 1.6 roller rockers on my L98 and i think i've got them in good. I followed comps instructions for the exhaust opening/intake closing method of adjusting the arms and I tighted them down about half turn past zero lash/pushrod resistance.
they held tight but seemed to loosen up by the time i got to the last cylinder so i went around and retightend everything. I started it up and ran fine it seemed. wasnt making any noises really. hard to tell over the injector clicking.
So i put the covers back on and took it for a drive... got a few WOT runs in and it pulled fine and seemed to pull harder than before.
I just want to know what to look for/listen for just incase they ever loosen up. will it make noise?

Re: Just installed rocker arms, have some questions
I run the same rockers on my 355 and I was told to expect a little bit noise from these rockers and there is and always has been. Everything is still good when I pull a cover and check things even after 5 years of running, just the nature of roller tip and full roller rockers. If they get really loud, well, then you have problem that needs to be checked. Hope this helps and I'm sure others will chime in.
