heater core lines
Wasn't sure where to put this so I stuck here.....Is there anyway I can re-route those heater core lines so they aren't half draped across the motor? I'm in the process of cleaning everything up in around the motor and the lines just kinda look outta place with everything else all tidied up. Any ideas or pics of what you have done??

I don't have any good pics of what I did but all you need to do is figure out where you want them to go. Draw it up with measurements. Go to your local parts store and start looking at what they have.
I ended up mounting mine to the frame rail. Completely out of the way.

Sure. Just make sure you don't just buy straight hose. Get some 90's and whatever else you think you need. Don't forget that you'll want to be able to mount them somewhere.
Plan it out FIRST. Don't just go into the store and start buying everything that looks good. Pre-bent hoses are generally not cheap.

Re: heater core lines
like so

ive got 2 90" fittings soldered to the heater core outlets at about a 45 degree angle, kinda straddling that ground stud that hold the heater box on., adapting to 1/2 FPT. then AN from there.

Man, I never even thought about stainless steel braided line...duh, that would look alot better than just plan old rubber hose. Problem around here is that no one stocks that stuff so it will be expensive cause I will have to order everything first... by the way you dont have any pics or anything about how you adapted to the heater core? I think I get the basic idea but I like pictures haha Also is there away to adapt to the ruber lines with AN? by the way that looks real clean I like whats done there good job

Re: heater core lines
well you dont have to use the AN line, still use the 90" female adapter, then just use a barbed fitting to go to the rubberhose, i dont have a close pic, and its a little busy down back there, but i can try to get one this weekend

Re: heater core lines
Well I like the look of the bradied stainless steel so I will try to go with thatas far as I can with out it looking like I hacked it together. Only problem is that my heater core is a replacment one and its fittings are made of plastic (I think or maybe its a coating) so I cant solder on to them so I just need a way to go from that to the braided line...dont worry about the pics I was just curious is all.
