1990 crossfire distributor cap

Anyone know if these were ever made? I have seen them for large cap hei est distributors but I am in search of a small cap crossfire one. Can't seem to find the name of the company that makes them either.

'90 Crossfire? Crossfire was used '81-84 only (Y and F chassis) and as far as I know, it just used a generic CC HEI large distributor cap ....?

I think he's referring to those special distributor caps that re-arrange the wires so all the left bank plugs have their wires attach to the left side of the distributor cap and same for the right side. Not aware that they make them for the small cap HEI distributors. Probably wouldn't use one even if they did- heard there are problems with them arcing through.

Re: 1990 crossfire distributor cap

There was (or is) a company that made 'crossfire' caps for HEI and maybe others. It was an engine dress up type of thing. The idea was to have all the plug wires from one side of the cap go to the side of the engine that was closest. 2,4,6,8 would come out of the right side of the cap and 1,3,5,7 would come out of the other side. That way, no wires would cross in front of the distributor and they could be loomed neatly. I saw an ad for it in a street rod magazine. If I see it again I'll post more info here.

EDIT: Damon beat me to it.
